Hold current registered charity status in good standing with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)

Grants must be used for the project for which they were requested

Be clearly linked to one or more of our areas of focus; community health, social care or environmental impact

Employ ethical methods of publicity, promotion and solicitation of funds

Must demonstrate inclusiveness and respect for cultural diversity

Operating/administration costs of the organization are reasonable and minimal

Demonstrate strong support and need for the programs/services provided

Have a long-term impact and has a measurable benefit to that segment of the community served by the organization (affect significant numbers of people)

As applicable/appropriate, provide recognition of the support received from the Foundation (i.e. logo, program material, verbal and/or social channel recognition, etc.)

Minimum funding request is $2,500

The maximum amount a charity can be funded per year is up to $20,000
-
Only single year funding will be considered
- Organizations that have not received funding in the previous funding period (i.e. if a organization receives funding in 2021, they are eligible to reapply in 2023)
- Organizations outside of BC are not eligible for funding
