Who is JABC?

Junior Achievement British Columbia is a not-for-profit impact organization. For over 65 years, it’s delivered free hands-on education in work readiness, financial health, and entrepreneurship to thousands of young people across BC.

How does Gulf & Fraser help?

Since 2019, we’ve helped JABC teach high school students the fundamentals of finance. This includes topics like budgeting, managing credit, and saving money. Through our classes, we aim to help these young people build the knowledge and skills to secure their financial wellness into the future.

Our credit union proudly partners with Each One, Teach One to offer virtual and in-person financial workshops across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

What is Each One, Teach One?

Each One, Teach One is a program designed to provide basic, plain language financial education. Its goal is to empower people with the knowledge to make good financial decisions for themselves and their families.

How does Gulf & Fraser help?

Trained volunteers from our team visit local schools and community groups to deliver financial literacy sessions. The topics range from filing taxes and basic budgeting to preventing identity theft.
